A new feature that is again LONG overdue is the UWS Gatherings page.
The first gathering was in Hickory, NC. The second was in Shawnee, PA.
We had a blast at both and are planning a doozy for next year!
I really hope more can attend next year. Well, go to the front page and click
the "UWS Gatherings" text. I will have a complete button soon. Enjoy!

Also there is a new story by [UWS]Stickmang that has been added to the
story section, so go check it out... it's a riot! So funny... you may crack your
buttox while reading it from laughing too hard!!

As everyone or mostly everyone already knows, UWS is now over 2 years old!!

We have been doing a lot in these past weeks.
The P1K of the W33K is now known as the Caption Contest, because it seemed
there was not enough traffic to get a decent number of submitted captions and/or votes.

We also have been gearing up and doing a lot of practicing as of late.
Why? Well UWS is currently looking into some league play. We have looked at a few
different leagues and have gathered a list of current league maps.

As you know by now UWS is now over 2 years old and still growing!! Go UWS!!
Like last year we are having the annual gathering. This year it is in PA (Last yr was in NC).
I hope a few can attend.

On a last note, don't forget to view the TFC Stories by [UWS]StickMang and
the Hammy Tunes by none other than [UWS]CannedHam - both good reading.
Also... PLEASE submit and vote for your favorite caption for our Caption Contest

Well, as you could tell by now, the UWS website has been updated!!
What do ya think? Frankly, I don't care what anyone thinks. LOL!!!
I have asked thousands of times for suggestions or critizications
and have received NOTHING! So, if you don't like the website, voice
your opinion. If you don't say anthing, it WON'T change.

There are TWO new clicky's above on the menu bar.
1st one is Hammys Tunes. Hammys Tunes is songs that have custom llyrics
by none othere than the llyric master himself... [UWS]Hammy. His first song is a h00t!
2nd button is Logos. This is where we show off our logos. You can browes thru
them. If you see anythign you like or they spark and idea, just email UWS and maybe we
will get one custom made for you. If we make your logo... it will be added to the site.

The MangloManiac submitted another story, you can give it a read by clicking on the "Story" button located in the menu above. Public voting on the first P1K of the W33K will start today. Most obvious is that the layout for the website has changed. The navigation menu was moved from the left side to the top of the site. There's more on the way... so Stick around!

I added another new feature called "Game Review". I thought that if some folks are always searching for another new game to try their hand at, I could at least give my opinion on it. Every month I will review a different game. This month I will probly be adding a few more just to get the ball rolling. So check out the reviews by clicking the "Game Review" button to the left on the nav-bar. Hope you enjoy this new feature... and feel free to agree/disagree with my reviews on the message board.

Who said we don't love our visitors?? We will be implementing several new features to get visitors to our site involved and coming back for more. The first feature that we are starting off with was an idea suggested by none other than that fabulous writer [UWS]StickMang. Visit the pic of the week and submit you idea for a caption for the pic displayed this week. We will vote on the submissions and pick the five best. After the five best are picked, they will be posted on the message board in the public forum for final voting. After a determined time, the winner will be announced right here in the news section of our website and also fronted a spot on the main page. The caption will then be placed under the "P1K of the W33K" with winners name. Good Luck!!!

Sunday: New picture added along with winner announcement for caption of last week pic.
Monday-Tuesday: Captions are being accepted.
Wednesday-Thursday: Captions are voted on by UWS members.
Friday-Saturday: Final five captions are voted on by public.
