:: UWS MEMBERS HANDBOOK ::

The most important rule is to always remember that this clan was formed for TF players who want to be on a team. This is all about TEAMPLAY. Hold that in your mind at all times.
Say it with me,TEAMPLAY.

1) PRACTICES: There will be open and private practices. At this time we currently practice on the OESM server(thanks OESM). During practice you are expected to listen to any of the 4 founders for any instructions they may have. If for some reason you do not know who the founding members are click here(Founders). IF YOU DO NOT LISTEN OR DECIDE TO RUN THE SHOW YOURSELF IT COULD LEAD TO REMOVAL FROM THE CLAN as it did once in the past.

2) POSITION(Offense/Defense): Find your most comfortable and most helpful to the team, position. Everyone should try and figure out what position they feel most comfortable with. If they are better on defense then PLAY defense

If we are to win as a team, then we must PLAY AS A TEAM.

THIS IS NOT A TEAM BASED ON STAT RATINGS. Although it is nice to be ranked quite high, if you are not helping out the team by being top man, then what purpose do you serve? EX: If one were to find that they are best on defense and fragged only 2 people the whole game, but also those same 2 people did not cap the flag, then the defensive player has fully served the purpose of being on the team.

3) TEXT BINDS: We will all decide on a standard set of "macros" or text bindings. Ex: "I am going on DEFENSE" or "AFFIRMATIVE" or "I am on my way". At the present moment most of us are using the Zeroconfig provided to the clan by the one and only Zero.

4) COMMUNICATION: If we want to win games, then we need to communicate and communicate often. I mean in games (whether they be practice or play) and outside of games. If there's a member you do not know real well Spectate, play with/against, and ICQ them. The better you know your clanmates the better the team we can be.

5) BE A HELPFUL PLAYER: For example, If one were to see a teammate building an sg and the equip packs are quite a few steps away, go over and toss them to him so that it will be upgraded faster. If one sees someone carrying the flag, back them up don't just run past them. One never knows who is persuing the flag carrier and just might stop him from capping it, if they were to ignore him. If you are playing an engy and see a clan mate building an SG, help him or her upgrade it.

6) PUBLIC SERVER CONDUCT: All members represent the clan. So, even if that Llama is calling you names and being a total jerk, remember that when you treat a Llama like they've been treating you it reflects back on our clan. Others might think we are like them. So, ALWAYS be respectful even to those Llamas. AND if you have a problem regarding a fellow member don't talk about it on a public server. You can go to Spectator mode(if noone's there) or use ICQ (preferably)

7) LOCKED SERVER CONDUCT: If it's a locked server that means there is something going on. It might be a game or it might be a practice. Please ask what's going on before gunning everone down.

8) PRACTICE part2: Practices will always be an organized event. Listen to what is being said an offer advice. We will run plays and other situations during the first part of practice. Afterwards there will usually be a free-for-all but only after we have practiced what we set out to do. If there is a problem member, then they will be warned and/or kicked/banned. We will have a playbook soon for more info regarding Practices.

9) ICQ: If at possible please check your ICQ often. This is how we communicate off of servers and send passwords. We're all friends here, so don't be afraid to contact any member to discuss anything that may be on your mind.

10) Recruiting: FIRST any possible recruit must meet the requirements of the clan. Then any member of UWS can recruit with the blessing of the 4 Founding Members BUT the Founding Members can not give permission until all members think the possible new recruit to be UWS worthy.

-For example: A [UWS] member wants to recruit (1)Player. If, when all members are asked about (1)Player's possible recruitment, a [UWS] member says "No" and says that (1)Player was cussing, blocking doors, and purposefully infecting teammates when he was playing earlier. Then (1)Player would not be recruited.

11) SPONSORING: As a sponsor it's your job to help the new found recruit into our clan by helping to explain rules/conduct, and passing along other useful info such as passwords and configs. Once the Recruit has made the transition into the clan he'll be voted "'in" by the Founding Members and the Recruit may remove the Recruit tag.

Handbook will be updated as necessary.
